The construction company behind a controversial Keystone pipeline project in New Jersey is now in the process of moving the pipeline project to the United States, a company spokesperson told Polygon.
The company, Pipelines & Logistics, has not yet announced the move.
The company has been in the news in recent weeks for a series of setbacks and a lawsuit from the state of New Mexico that alleges it did not provide adequate notice for permits.
Pipelines & Co., which has an office in Newark, New Jersey, was in the works for about six years before the project was halted in October 2015 after the U.S. Supreme Court declared it would not be permitted to build the pipeline.
The project was ultimately approved.
